Dear Ms. Petrillo:
My name is Ashley Mauldin and I am currently a senior early childhood education major at Clemson University. I am contacting you because you are well established in this field. As I draw near towards the end of my undergraduate education, I will be seeking a job as an early childhood teacher. My reasons for contacting you are not to seek a job but rather to gain some information and insight into the things that would benefit me in the future.
If possible, I would like to set up an appointment so that I may talk with you. I understand that you are very busy, therefore this meeting will take no longer than fifteen minutes. I will contact the school secretary to set up a time and date that will be most suitable to fit your schedule. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Ashley Mauldin

Looks good. The part about not asking for a job, I fear, may not quite be strong enough. How about something more like "I making final preparations for a job as an early childhood teacher. My reason for contacting you are not to seek a job, however but rather to gain information and insight into the things that would benefit me in the future." (It's a subtle change, but this is a tricky thing to do well.)
