Dear Mrs. Gingrey,

As a rising senior at Clemson University, I am majoring in business with the intentions of entering the real estate profession shortly after graduation. Although I am extremely enthusiastic about real estate, I still have much knowledge to gain to be successful in this profession.

Your expertise in real estate has inspired me to contact you in hopes of obtaining information that will further prepare me to enter this highly competitive market. Please understand, I am not asking you for a position. At this time, I would like to meet with you to obtain practical knowledge that will benefit me in my future professional endeavors. I can be available to meet with you at your convenience and would greatly appreciate your time. I will contact your office next week to try and arrange an appointment. Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to meeting with you soon.

Sincerely,

Stephen E. DuBose

Good job. Work on this part just a bit more: How about "At this time, I am not seeking job interviews. Rather . . . " (instead of mentionaling job offers or formal interviews.) Then you're set!
