I am not trying to seek a job; however, I would like to request just a few minutes of your time to help me better prepare for when I do begin a job search.
I will soon be contacting you at your office in hopes of being able to have a short appointment. Thank you for taking time to read my letter and I look forward to meeting with you.

Good job. My only suggestion is that you might want to add the word "yet" after telling him you are not seeking a job (since that will be your objective.) Good to go!
