Response to Individual Post: John Knapp

I thought John did an excellent job giving examples of how people in completely unrelated professions can use technical writing. In this definition, John demonstrates how writers, research scientists, and the medical community all use technical writing. My future profession is in commercial real-estate development, and I was somewhat skeptical about how there are so many areas of technical writing. This definition really gave me practical examples that allowed me to think outside of the box and get a good feel for the different forms of technical communication.
