Collaborative Response for Project 2: Ashley Mauldin and Jason Patterson

We have decided to design a website for Clemson Community Care Center on Hwy. 76. We have decided on this organization because of the way they give to the community. Clemson Community Care is a non-profit organization that doesn't stick to one type of charity. They help community in anyway the community needs help. Also, it is locally found here in Clemson, and works with students from the University really well. Also, we felt that since they give so much back to the community, it was time for someone to give back to them. They were really excited when we talked about building a website for them and we knew we had our choice.

There are a few things we wish to accomplish. The main idea of the website is to introduce Clemson Community Care to the community. They do so much good and many people in the community have never heard if them. We plan on having about 5 web pages: one to promote volunteers, one to promote donations, one to show background/organizational info, one to show the accomplishment of the center to the community, and one to function as a weekly/monthly news letter.

There are many things we can gain from this project for our future jobs. We feek that it will open us up to new experiences and help us have a connection to the local community. For Ashley's profession of teaching, it is really good to be connected with the community. For Jason's profession of engineering, being connected to the community is important as well. However, being and engineer it is important to be able to win clients be face to face conference in which you tell them what you can do for them. Also this project is great in teaching how to deal with quick timelines.
