Tigers Who Care
Tigers Who Care is a community service organization at Clemson University.Their purpose is to challenge students to become involved in theircommunity, and increase their awareness of the community's social issues.They serve to inform students about the importance of each individual'sintention in order to bring about change in the community. They hope toincrease the cooperation between Clemson University's students and thecommunity of Clemson. With the community and students in mind, Tigers WhoCare plan to develop a sense of responsibility in the students of Clemson,and an appreciation and respect for Clemson's citizens. Tigers Who Caresponsor weekly service opportunities to increase interaction amongst thecommunity such as Helping Hands in which participants take out time of eachday to play games and work with children, and Habitat for Humanity in whichvolunteers help others less fortunate build new lives through new homes.
