Individual Post 3 - Alan DuPree
David’s Collaborative Post
I thoroughly agree with David’s statement about the troubles of reading time consuming subject matter. Being a busy college student, it is not on my priority list to be reading a memo for 30 minutes that should only take 5. The use of “burdensome language” can sometimes cover up what is really important in a work.
Jenna’s Interview
I completely disregarded the use of technical communication within the workplace itself. I did not think of the conversation between co-workers as a form of technical communication. The doctor/patient communication also failed to strike me as a form of technical writing. I can also understand a doctor not doing a large number of write-ups because of the need to verbally communicate with patients and other co-leagues.
