Collaborative Post (6/3) - Jack Johnston and Alan DuPree

The non-profit organization that Jack and I have decided to work with is the Greenville Free Medical Clinic. This organization is the main organization in Greenville that provides free medical services to low-income, uninsured patients. The amazing thing about this organization is the fact that they operate with no federal funding and no individual payments from patients. It operates on a very small budget because of about 200 physicians, 75 dentists, 40 nurses, and 20 pharmacists that donate their free time to the clinic. The clinic was recently presented with a grant worth fifteen-thousand dollars to help fund their Prevention-Oriented health education activities. We are graciously looking forward to working with this organization to possibly increase its funding and provide greater healthcare to the citizens of Greenville with the creation of an effective website.
