Response to definition of technical writing by Ashley and Jason

This is a great definition of technical writing. I like how the opening line tells the main point of technical writing; immediately a reader knows the exact purpose of the paragraph. I also like the statement, "Although it’s most used in explaining technology, it can be used to accommodate almost any field." I strongly agree with this as well as the aspect of the definition that tells about a writer researching material and writing in a manner suitable to a variety of audiences. There is nothing that I disagree with in the definition; the only part that could be expanded on would be to list the different mediums that can be used in technical writing instead of only commenting that technical writing comes in different forms. Great, thorough definition otherwise.
