Response to definition of technical writing by Hayden and Jason

This definition of technical writing is fairly thorough. It is important that this definition included the fact that technical writers must have exactly the right amount of information included in their writing: enough for the reader to fully understand the subject but no more than is necessary. I agree with the statement "Effeciency is the most important aspect of technical writing." There are no statements in this definition that I disagree with. The only part of this definition that could be expanded upon would be to include the other tools technical writers use, such as charts and graphs, in the section of the definition that tells about the forms technical writing can be in. Otherwise good definition.
