Individual Post #2 - Response to Collaborative Posts

I think that this is an excellent cause! I've never heard of it before, but from your description I think that it is a good choice. I think that for the project you should include a lot of statistics about how many people they have helped, and maybe something about the cost of operation (if they accept donations). If they do accept donations, there should definitely be a way for people to donate online through the site.

This plans sounds good to me, and I think that it would be a good idea to include some pictures of the places that area available for people to donate to. Pictures are a good visual to, and being able to see the people that you can donate to may encourage more people to donate. Like I said about Alan and Jack's post, I believe that it would be a good idea to include some statistical information on the site about the operation of the organization, so people could tell how much food was handed out, and be concinced to get involved.

I didn't even know that the Catawba River was the most endangered river in America until Cathie said so, and I think that it is worth saving. For this site you may want to include some information about Landsford Canal, which is located on the Catawba River and is one of the only places where Spider Lilies grow; I've seen them myself. Pictures would probably make a strong impression on visitors to the site.
