Final Post: Advice for Future ENGL 314 Students

TO: Future Technical Writing Students
FROM: Casey A. Smith
DATE: August 8, 2005
SUBJECT: Advice for Success in ENGL 314

The most important advice that I can give you is to do all of your work a day in advance. Computers are fickle and do not like to cooperate with humans. If you do all of your work early you will have an easier time fix the technical difficulties that arise. The significant things you will learn include, but are not limited to: writing memos, creating resumes, and increasing website coding skills. I learned how to write memos, which I had no idea how to do prior to this and I also learned how to work with a group cohesively. It was nice to learn that not every group is a trial to be in! If you need any further advice, feel free to contact me at csmith@clemson.edu.

Your one of my favorite people now Casey. Great Blog! I'm sure glad I found your information... thank you for the knowledge! If you are interested, go see my creating a resume related site. It isn't anything special but you may still find something of interest.
