I found Joe's post interesting, because I have pretty much grown up with a golf club in my hands. Since my family lives on a golf course, I spent numerous summers as a golf camp counselor. I definitely agree that there is not much technical writing involved in a head pro's position, but I can guarantee that there is a lot if you are working your way up! During camps, our team of assistant pros and counselors had to write daily itineraries, as well as evaluation letters to the parents.
