Technical has the basic meaning of having knowlege or skills in a specific area, usually in the scientific or mechanical feild. In a person's profession technical could be used to describe any skill or procedure, for example if i a person who does landscaping does his work the exact same way the boss or manual would say to do the job, he would be very technical. I think technical has the same meaning in a person's profession and personally. A person can be technical about any situation in life.
Writing is the act of one who writes. To write is to put letters and words together to communicate with one another. Writing in the profession can definately have a different meaning than writing personaly. Usually writing in a person's profession is work and also serious with a specific format. Writing personaly doesnt have to be done in a specific way and also is most likely to be enjoyable unlike writing out memos for your job.
