Response to Kinsey and Bobby's definition

The definitions of the class were all very similar. The definition that Bobby and Kinsey gave was particularly clear and concise. They stressed that technical writing must be understood by the intended audience which is definitely an important aspect. They also included other ways technical communication occurs other than written such as graphs and charts. The talked about a few professions in which technical writing is important and the types of documents that would be used. There isn't anything in their definition that I disagree with. They could have expanded on the different kinds of documents that a particular profession would use instead of looking at the broad picture. Overall this was a very accurate and well thought out definition of technical writing.
