Response to Definition by Jason and Ashley

This is a good definition of technical writing because it emphasizes the importance of identifying the audience when writing. It is very important for a writer to have the capability of writing to experts in the field of interest as well as a general audience. The main point I got from this definition was that the writer should realize their audience and most importantly, make the information very understandable at all levels. Overall, this was a very thorough definition that included all of the components necessary.
