Project 1

For the report I thought it would be best to have 4 or so different sections, starting off with an introduction and brief overview which included information from my collaborative definition. After the overview I put in a section using what I think would prepare the audience for the workplace. Then past experiences in writing documents up and how to correct my follies as well as capitalize off of the positive experiences. The information I obtained from the interview is put in to show the perspective of a professional on technical writing. Next, I put information from other sources including the 4 readings that were assigned in this class. Lastly, I put up a conclusion to try and wrap up the report. I learned a lot about civil engineering and writing while researching this subject. I tried my best to remember all that I recalled from ASCE meetings as well as seminars those professors held to help us understand our role in society. Writing this was kind of intriguing because it was like writing up a lesson plan for a class. I like to help others, younger or less experienced than me, try to understand things that they aspire for.
