The not for profit organization that Kim and I are doing is AIDS-next. AIDS next is an organization created by four Emory University students along with the support of the Emory student government and three Emory professors. The organization was created initially with the purpose to host an event taking place at the HiFi Buys Amphitheater in Atlanta, GA. This event called "classroom on the quad" is something that the Emory student government puts on every year. The event hoped to enhance college students awareness of aids by bring speaker such as Magic Johnson and John Mayer. Emory university has a history of aids research so this organization was just another step in their continued fight against aids. Today the organization is focusing on planning an event that can reah a broad range of college students.
