Dear Mr. Sadler,

I am currently a student at Clemson University in the field of architecture and I am preparing myself for a future job search within the next year. Because of my unfamiliarity with the field and what it takes to find a job, I am requesting a brief interview with you so I can associate myself with how to prepare after college. I will contact your office within the next day or so to arrange an appropriate meeting time. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Matthew Belt

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to meet with me. I did not realize the interview process can be so involved, so I thank you for taking it seriously. I definitely learned a lot more about the process of finding a job after this interview, and the confidence and skills I have attained are invaluable in my future job searches. I have learned that many architecture firms do look for applicants who have experience in AutoCAD, so to further my knowledge in that particular computer skill will definitely help me when I actually look for the job within the next year. I also enjoyed learning about your company in that they focus more on the technical side of the field and not so much on the design aspect, so my dilemma is to find a firm in the future that fits with what I want to focus on in my career. Again, thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
Matthew Belt
