I'm preparing myself for a future job search in Pharmaceutical sales, and I'd appreciate it very much if I could have just a brief few minutes of your time to ask your advice on how best to prepare for my future. Please understand, I am not asking you for a job, but rather for a few minutes of your time in which I can ask you some questions about how I can make myself attractive to future potential employers.

I will be starting my junior year in the fall at Clemson University and will be completing my major, Health Promotion and Education, in the spring of 2008. I am seeking to become a Pharmaceutical sales representative and I am just trying to make myself as marketable as possible in this competitive workplace. I was wondering if you had any time to talk to me about what this job includes, what companies are looking for when they are hiring, and what I can do to make myself attractive to future potential employers. If you can just give me 10 – 15 minutes to give me some advice, which would be greatly appreciate, because I know that you are very busy. I am not asking for a job, just advice.
