Repost – Response to Interview in Civil Engineering

I thought this interview was very accurate to my experience in Civil Engineering. I have spent my summers interning for a Civil Engineering firm and part of my job has been helping to prepare the proposals that Mr. Easterling mentioned in your interview. The firm I work for is very meticulous in the preparation of these proposals. As Mr. Easterling mentioned, the initial proposal is an important part in setting up a company for success or failure. It truly is the source of making money or failing. Potential clients will not trust your firm to construct a bridge if you can’t even explain your plan to them in a simple written explanation. I thought Mr. Easterling’s knowledge of the ASCE’s Carolina’s Conference shows his knowledge of his Civil Engineering community and makes him a very reliable source for this interview. I thought this was very well written and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Great job Shayaa!
